What I’m learning while building Wavehaus Creative.
I’m currently preparing Wavehaus Creative to become a social media management agency I can operate full-time. I’m not at that point yet, so my main focus is getting useful experience and learning what the work actually requires.
I have a client who is letting me manage their social media. That gives me experience with planning content, communicating with a business, working with the content that is available, and making adjustments when needed. Those are things I could not learn by only creating a logo or writing a business plan.
I’m also learning which parts of the process need to be organized before I take on more clients. That includes content planning, approvals, communication, file management, and tracking what performs well.
I want Wavehaus Creative to look professional, but I also want the business to be based on real work. Right now, building experience and improving the process are more important than making the agency look bigger than it is.
The next step is to keep working with my current client, document what I learn, and use that experience to prepare Wavehaus Creative for future clients.
